Lesson learned the hard way — even going through FedEx can work against you. Somewhere between packaging/drop off of my completed Visa w/US Passport and the pickup, the package went AWOL. There is no record in the FedEx system (Side Lesson: even on return fedex labels, copy it so that you have the tracking number evidence) that it was ever picked up for delivery. Where is it? Who knows??? Now I get to start the process of replacing my US Passport and starting the Visa process again. Oh, and there is the 6-month window for the FBI Apostille to keep in mind otherwise I get to do that again!
